Which class to choose in Lineage 2 Essence — all classes by role for beginners

Choosing a class in Lineage 2 Essence is easier than in Classic: class transfers require no quests, and any class levels quickly up to Lv. 40. How to choose

  1. For your first character and auto-hunting — Human Fighter or Archer: they forgive mistakes and don't need expensive consumables.
  2. If you play with friends, one healer or tank per party makes everyone stronger.
  3. Mage — the fastest AoE leveling after level 40, but early on you need Adena for spiritshots.
  4. Check the class's transfer chain (class transfer 1 → 2 → 3) on its page in the classes section — skills by level are listed there too.
